About this event
Join us for our first-ever New Capenna draft!
New Capenna is a city run by five crime families, and in this draft you pick which one to run with. Each family plays three colors and has its own mechanic:
Obscura (white-blue-black) connive. Maestros (blue-black-red) cast spells with casualty. Riveteers (black-red-green) blitz. Cabaretti (red-green-white) build alliances. Brokers (green-white-blue) protect their crew with shield counters.
Three-color drafting gives you more options at every pick and bigger, splashier decks than most sets. That's what makes it one of the more fun formats to draft.
It's also a set worth opening for Commander. Each family's boss (Raffine, Xander, Ziatora, Jetmir, and Falco Spara) leads a popular three-color deck, and the packs are full of multicolor cards to pick up along the way.
